Greetings members,
As we close the chapter on a busy month filled with the energy of the election, I want to take a moment to thank you for the continued trust you have placed in me to advocate for the issues that matter most to our local community. With the election results in, I am excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead under the leadership of the LNP Government.
One of my immediate priorities as your State Member is to allocate funding and facilitate the relocation of the Burleigh Men’s Shed and Lapidary Club from their current Pizzey Park location. These organizations are vital to our community, providing a space for connection, creativity, and collaboration. By ensuring they have a more suitable facility, we can foster an environment where they can thrive and continue to serve our residents.
As we approach the festive season, there are plenty of exciting events on the horizon that will keep the Gold Coast and its visitors busy. I encourage everyone to participate in these seasonal festivities, which not only bring joy but also strengthen our sense of community. Whether it’s holiday markets, local performances, or outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as we usher in the Summer and Christmas period.
As we transition into this time of year, it’s essential to remain vigilant about changing weather conditions. We all know how quickly things can shift, so I urge you to stay informed and prepared.
Thank you once again for your support and trust. Together, we can continue to build a thriving, vibrant community. I look forward to sharing more updates with you in the coming months, and I’m excited about the positive changes we can achieve together.
As always, if you have any State issues you would like to discuss with me, don’t hesitate to contact my office.
